Lab pe aati hai dua ban ke tamanna meri!

In Pakistan talk is cheap. People just talk and talk and talk, to no avail. In our society talking is a great pastime, be it about politics, our relatives or anything else.

No one gives a second thought to what they are saying  and why. In all the chitter chatter of life we forget that words have great power. We forget that words are what shape and describe our lives. Kaala jaado aur kya hota hai, just the right words in the right sequence on the right time. And poof words become reality.

But the opposite is true too! The quran and it’s ayat are all words too. All words with great power to do good. The better our wordings during dua the more likely it is to come true. If I want something really badly I need to be specific to be heard by Allah. For example if I ask for a husband for my friend during my dua. She will get just that, just a husband.  But if I ask for a husband, who is kind and caring, yet manly and responsible. Who understands her needs and who will enhance her positiveness, and be in her best interest throughout life.  Then she will get that kind of a husband.

When even Allah wants us to be specific in our dua, how come we expect the people that are close to us, to just read our minds? How come we don't speak our minds and be honest and upfront with the one closest to us? Remember I said honest not rude!

So next time you want your husband to get you flowers....just ask him. Next time your son is being really slow..... just say" Raje mein aap ka intezar karrahi hoon, 5 minute mein la dein". Be specific, what do you expect and when.

So this Ramadan be specific in your dua, till the last detail, ending with and Allah make it so it is in my and my families best interest. Islye yeh kehti hoon:Lab pe aati hai dua ban ke tamanna meri!
